Overdue update on Laughlin Half Marathon!!!

On the beach of the Colorado River AFTER our run! Yes we got on the ice cold river for our achey muscles!

Then after the river we hung out by the resort pool and got tans!!! And ate lots of shrimp for protein!!!

I'm a big hurry here, but we had a blast! It was my first trip without my kids SINCE I had my kids! haha! It was super, super fun and we had great long, explicit, enlightening conversations the whole weekend!!! Best trip yet! I can't wait to see you again Aimme!!!!!!! *hugs*

We will be getting together again in Phoenix the first week of May to do the "Mad Mud Run" in the desert!!! You run 4 miles on an obstacle course and end by jumping in a huge mud pit! I'm stoked! This one is just for fun but I will try to increase my speed since it's a shoter one!!!!

Hope everybody is well! Me and the boys got moved into our new house on March 24th and we still have no internet. So I can only update u guys or read your blogs when I swing by my moms to get online. Hope to get the WORLD WIDE WEB soon! God please, soon!!!!

    You guys looked like you rocked it but I am wondering why you aren't red faced and bathed in sweat in your photos- wtf?

    Brooke! Girl I was sweatin' my butt off! My pits stank and my hair was alll super nappy by the end! These pics were taken during the first half when we did a lot of talking and posing~ haha! We realized how much time we were wasting so we booked it and jogged ALOT of the 2nd half so the after pics I have myhair is all ghetto fied!!!! I didn't post the one of me at the finish line b/c it's onmy cell (it's onmy FB page) but my hair is CRAZY, my sleeves are rollled up, and my face is red!!! It was good though!

Woah...dude...it has been FOR-EV-ER!!!

Well here I am, once again starring at a computer screen to share my life or a story with an audience I cannot touch or see. I came to this blog because I am trying to get into my writing professionally part-time to follow this huge passion of mine and in doing so I had to find and share the links to a blog I "used" to write on. Let's get MENTAL!!!

...Lol, that makes me think "Let's get physical, physical, physical"!!! (emailed myself while at gym) There's this skinny chic at the gym I was watching run. Had to be 110-120 lbs. She ran a 13 min mile. I thought her tiny body could've gone much faster, my sister does!! (Go Jennypoo!) But she had super perfect form. Her arms and shoulders never faltered, go her! Seriously though, I think she was running on her tip toes, I'll have to try that. Hehe! THEN this hot, hot guy gets on a treadmill and sets it at 6.0 (!!) For his warm up! Damn it man!!!! Yes, I am a people watcher...keeps me entertained! :P (after gym) Running: So I couldn't run on my toes. Did my best to run my 1 mile (to check my speed) and I did it in 14.2 minutes. Not awful, but I did struggle. Maybe the leg soreness… Cycling: Then I did 6.3 miles cycling and I swear I thought I was gonna die!!! (Half way thru!)
