7.5 minutes of GLORY!
Alright so I'm late on sharing this news, but I figured better late than never!
I went to the gym on this past Thur and decided I needed to get to going on the treadmill to keep up with "marathon running buddies" training. So I go and I walk maybe 3 mins and I'm so stoked to run.
I RAN FOR 7.5 MINUTES STRAIGHT!!!! Can you believe that? When I finally stopped I kept walking and starting sharing on FB and then i emailed my "marathon running buddies" and I almost cried on the treadmill, writting about how much this lapband has changed my life! I felt so proud of myself!
So do any of you ladies run/walk/train on a treadmill? I was just wondering if you run on a treadmill how long can u go and at what speed? I'm just gathering some research. My sisters longest RUn now is 16 mins and Danielle's is about 10, if I remember right??? maybe not. Anyway, so my goal for my next run is 10 mins. I'll be stoked with that. I'm going to the gym tomorow, excited to see how far I can go!!!
I hope everyone is doing well, startin' out 2010 greatly, and well wishes for everyone!
xoxo,
Liz

That is awesome Liz....I find that interval training is best for cardio training and find that when doing that your jogging gets better and longer spurts and your body conditions easier to the running/jogging. I have just started doing the C25K and hopefully in a few weeks will be able to jog the 5km! Way to go!
