The reason I was absent...

Alrighty, so NYE was fabulous right? Well on 1-1 we got a call that my grandpa in arkansas had had a heart attack and they thought his cancer was back. My mom freaked out b/c he's old and he's been sick a lot. So we all decided to go out there last miniute, incase it was the last chance we'd get to see him. We were in Arknasas from Jan 2nd to the 6th! I have pictures!


Day one! Flying out

Landed in Little Rock, Ark and stayed the night there to hang out with my brother and his family who were passing through on their way home to Oklahoma.

We all went out to eat at this Mexican place! It was good! But to get there mom followed my brother and I followed Mom and  we drove around in circles for 20 minutes b/c chris had no clue where he was going! I laughed my ass off the entire time I'd follow them down the same street AGAIN! HAHA! doin uturns and cuttin people off to stick together, my family is nuts! and a whole lotta fun!

After dinner we all hung out in moms room for a few hours to let the kids play and just chill! It was mass chaos! With so many little kids and BOYS there was farting and stinky feet all over the place, in that tiny space! Not a good thing!




This pic is blury but I love it! Getting to spend time with my big brother (I call him bubba) made me realize how much I miss him and how much we are alike even though there is a 12 year age difference. He is hilarious!!! This pic is mom, me, and bubba!

Day 2.
Leaving Little Rock to head to Blytheville, where my Pepaw lives!


It snowed about 2 of the 3 hours we drove to get to Pepaws. At one point I was only goin' 45 on the freeway cuz it was thick!

Blytheville, Ar at my Pepaws house. As you can see, they had no snow! haha! But it was still like 12 degrees there when we got there.

The boys wanted to play outside so I had to really bundle them up, I'm not used to having to cover them up so much! They didn't last long outside.

That night I headed to Portia, Ar to stay the night w/ my BFF, Jeannie. It started snowing when we got almost there.



I've never photographed snow before. I was so excited!

Konnor, Riley, and Hannah (Jeannies daughter) all went for a drive cruisin around Walnut Ridge, Ark.


Day 4. Heading to meet Konnors dad so he could have him for a day. Went through a small area with NO snow! haha!

Day 5. Heading to Little rock to fly back home!


Had to stop on the side of the rd to pee so I saw it as a photo opportunity, go figure!

We had a good time! Pepaw update: He was doin' fine and out of the hospital by the time we got there Sunday. They are running a bunch of tests to see if the cancer is back. We hope to know something by the end of January. We couldn't stay any longer. He was in good spirits when we were there. But still real exhausted and takin a bunch of naps. No matter what happens with Peeps, we're all glad we got this visit!

    I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather, but it sounds like he's going to pull through like a trooper! As scary as it may have been, it looks like you had a good time and took full advantage of your time there. We missed your crazy stories while you were gone!

    I did take advantage of the time there, I like to get more than 1 thing done at a time and not waste my time or money on trips.

    It was sooooo cold there. The highest it got was like 22 and I hadn't been to Arkansas in the winter in probably 6 years. It sucked! The snow was pretty, of course, but not fun to drive on that and ice. And everybody around there I know doesn't have central heat so it's all fireplaces, wood stoves, and gas heaters and it is SUPER HARD to get and stay warm! ugh! that sucked! Soooo happy and blessed to be back home in beautiful, warm Az where it's been in the high 60's ever since we got home!

Woah...dude...it has been FOR-EV-ER!!!

Well here I am, once again starring at a computer screen to share my life or a story with an audience I cannot touch or see. I came to this blog because I am trying to get into my writing professionally part-time to follow this huge passion of mine and in doing so I had to find and share the links to a blog I "used" to write on. Let's get MENTAL!!!

...Lol, that makes me think "Let's get physical, physical, physical"!!! (emailed myself while at gym) There's this skinny chic at the gym I was watching run. Had to be 110-120 lbs. She ran a 13 min mile. I thought her tiny body could've gone much faster, my sister does!! (Go Jennypoo!) But she had super perfect form. Her arms and shoulders never faltered, go her! Seriously though, I think she was running on her tip toes, I'll have to try that. Hehe! THEN this hot, hot guy gets on a treadmill and sets it at 6.0 (!!) For his warm up! Damn it man!!!! Yes, I am a people watcher...keeps me entertained! :P (after gym) Running: So I couldn't run on my toes. Did my best to run my 1 mile (to check my speed) and I did it in 14.2 minutes. Not awful, but I did struggle. Maybe the leg soreness… Cycling: Then I did 6.3 miles cycling and I swear I thought I was gonna die!!! (Half way thru!) But I had a glorious finish with an average of 4.7 min/mile, hooty...
