Vacay Update!
So, since everyone was so sincere and supportive of me announcing my break up, I thought I'd take a moment to give everybody an update.
My vacation has been SUPER. On day three I got to have a brief conversation with S and get answers to some of my questions. That gave me the bit of closure I needed. It is not anything I can be mad at. Just briefly explain, he feels like he works too much to justly commit to a woman the way he feels like he should be. So he has good intentions. If I was....desperate (maybe?)...then I'd "wait" for him to work out his life. But at this point in MY life, I feel no desire to wait for others to straighten up their lives or work their drama out. I am solely focused on my life.
I have focused on my family, fun, visiting, exploring, taking a ton of pictures...and that's about it. I have yet to work out or worry about my food. I do feel bad about that. But at the same time, maybe my aspirations to lose on vacay were inappropriate, I don't know. But tomorrow, again, I will shoot to go for a run. If it doesn't work out, I won't fret. I'm still doing a 4k run on Saturday evening.
Monday I hung out with my ill, lovely Pepaw (grandpa) at his house then we ran to my bff's house and hung out there. We went by Walmart (fun fun) and then went to Lake Charles to let the kids swim. THAT was a blast, and a lake I had never been to before. The kids loved the beach entrance and just ran their butts off. Got back to B-town (where we're staying) super late. Tuesday was good after a late start we met up with my bff and saw Twilight: Eclipse!!! Super good! Jacob sooo makes me consider being "Team Jacob" when in reality I love them both equally :D Then we went to my sister's house to see them and meet up with my Dad and lil step sister. The kids had fun there bein' goofy and playin'. Then we left late and got back to B-town LATE! I was exhausted! Today I resolved to stay in B-town all day so my Pepaw didn't think I was blowing him off. So we were at his house all day swimming. My sister came up with her kids in the am and then my brother got here with his wife and kids in the afternoon. Everyone swam, went down the slide, and acted all goofy! My cousin and I did double dutch down the slide (ie. we both sat down, her behind me, and her legs wrapped around my waist as we both slid down together) LOL! IT was a BLAST! My mom got pictures then my brother got video of me sliding down face first on my stomach! It was so much fun!
Now this evening we are starting the baking extravaganza for the cakes for this Saturday! Doing it at my aunts house (where we are staying) and we have a house full. 7 adults and 5 kids and 2 dogs! ha! It's been fun though cuz my brother's kids are adorable and hilarious and well behaved. His oldest, Jack, is so funny! He is a delightful corny sense of humor that I adore!
Most exciting news, I MAY be hanging out w/ a hottie tomorrow. His name is A (haha) and he is a hottie I went to school w/ a few yrs in Junior high, from here, and we kept in touch on facebook. We fb msg'ed this week and he asked me to hang out with him tomorrow. I'm kinda nervous. It's not a date b/c it's a group of people and he's just being nice, but it still makes me nervous b/c he's a cute guy I've had a lil crush on for a long time. :/ I hope, above all else, I don't freak out and NOT go out of fear. I'd rather go and at least try to have a good time and be chill. I'll let ya'll know how that goes! ;)
