Job! Job! Job!

I realized I hadn't updated in a bit. I feel bad kinda leaving that last post on a sour note. HOWEVER, I'm happy to announce I got a job!!!! I had an interview with Qwest on Tuesday morning, and that afternoon they offered me the job and I start TODAY!!!

I'm very excited! I think it could be a neat. It's a new venture for me because my title is Administrative Assistant, and although i know I'll be good at it, I've never officially had this job or job title before. It's at Qwest Communications, the phone/Internet/cable company. i did have a shoe-in there. My Mom works at Qwest in Phoenix, my uncle does in Flagstaff, and my brother does in Oklahoma. There has been this type of pressure for years that I should join the telecommunications industry with them and I just never wanted to do something "easy" plus I already know all the downfalls of the industry b/c it's affected ME my whole life. Gotta really be a work-a-holic to make it at Qwest. But the job seems cool and so I took it, plus I need a job. Because the Manager knows a lot of my personal story (awkward!!!) she said I could work this job as long as I need, she'd give me time off to interview for other jobs while I continue the search for what "I want" and that's just awesome!

I'm maintaining my weight! that's good! Will be excited to lose the next few pounds BUT I've officially had a (.) again and that's refreshing....maybe not a good word! But I went 9 mths without one (on Depo) and it screwed me up, so I'm thankful to be on the track of normal. THANKS TO MY NEW IUD, I'M WORRY-FREE! lol! Cheesyyyyy!

I've officially began paying down debt. I'm super stoked about that. Paid one thing off the other day and it felt sooooo amazing! Called others to negotiate and things went well, so I was happy. Debt is one thing I've always hated, but always had. I haven't gotten NEW debt since I was 19. I accumulated plenty from the time of 18 and 19 years old....way too much. So now I'm beginning the process of getting rid of it while I'm still leaving with mom. My "rent" money (if I were living on my own) is all going towards savings and debt. I'm finally on this great track and I feel really good about it!!!

Gotta rush to go pain my nails before work! I love, love the Sally Hensen Complete Manicure in a bottle line!!!!

xoxo,
Lizzle
