I < 3 Tennis!!!!!
So my boys were on Fall break half of last week, so I decided we needed to do something awful. Konnor wasn't up for it so I took my oldest Riley and my two nieces, Jailynn and Lexi to play Tennis at the private course! NOW, I had not played or attempted to play in probably 10 years. However, 10 yrs ago my mom bought me this bag, 3 rackets, a ton of balls, all the gear you need, etc in HS in hopes of me getting off the couch. it did not motivate me then b/c I was too lazy and I sucked at it. I got so winded runnin' after the ball.
So my recent move I saw my tennis bag in storage and stuck it in my car in hopes of playing again sometime soon to see IF I had gotten any better after losing 88 lbs!
So we go all ready and set up and I was actually good. Good enough to teach the kids the basics, didn't get winded, chased them and all the balls all over the place.
I FELL IN LOVE!
Riley and Lexi ended up being naturals and Jailynn struggled but we all had a blast. Unexpectedly got up to 90 that am so they got a little too hot! Oops! But I never even started sweating in the hour we played and ran all over...but I'm pretty used to extreme heat by now!
Update: I went this morning to play by myself after takin' the boys to school. Decided I wanted to go solo and see how hardcore I can be, challenging myself. Rented the wall space where you hit it off the wall and play with yourself (hehe) and it was a ton of fun! I played for 45 mins before my cousin invited me to breakfast at Ihop (which I could not resist, she paid!) But in that time I was sweatin' my ass off, runnin' all over the damn court, sneakers makin' weird noses. It has a high back wall but I hit 6 balls total OVER the high fence! Oops! first two times I laughed, after that I'd say "FUCK!" b/c I didn't wanna lose all my balls! :D It was like an Easter Egg hunt after I was done searching for the bright yellow balls in the tallish bright green grass, lol!
I'm loving my new active life! But the thing about it is...I get monster hunger DAILY when I'm active DAILY! And I feel like I've been eating too much but really I don't know for sure b/c I've been too lazy and busy to keep up with it. But in the last 10 days being super active, I've lost 0 pounds. I'm thinking about doing my monthly measurements tomorrow. I've AROUND this weight for like 3 months now :S

ReplyDeleteIm so active these days, i work out 6+ times a week and i go out of my way to do active exciting things but the weightloss is still slow and its hard because im super hungry too...
Its bloody annoying... and i crave sugars more for more energy.... grrr! its ok... im sure itll pay off soon i thin kthere is a process with being active and working out where you need to do it for awhile before it starts actually showig.
