Motivation!

These are my boys! Riley on the left weighs 42 lbs. and Konnor on the right weights 31 lbs. Sooooo.....drum roll please...... I have lost enough weight to equal a 3 1/2 yr old. haha! So now that I've realized that it really makes me think when I pick him up and I think about how heavy he is. so that's awesome!

10-5-09 Frog cake my mom & I made for my friend Star's bday at work. (I didn't eat any of this).

10-05-09 Monkey cake my mom & I made for my friend Adam at work. (I got a reg sized piece and only ate half of it b/c the icing was so rich).


10-7-09 Adorable cake my mom & I made for Renee at work. (I got a thin sliver of this and finished it, it was delish.)
so I wanted to share the cakes w/ you guys b/c I'm so proud of how I haven't eaten a ton of it. In fact when I didnt' even have any of the frog I amazed myself. So I know this means my will and inner strength is getting stronger.
Last night I made choc cupcakes w/ marshmellow cream icing for Linda's bday at work. haha! I had half of one of those this am just to check and see if the icing came out right b/c it's the first time I made it alone. It was super good! But 1/2 a cupcake and I have a ton of pressure in my chest. I'm assuming the sucker got stuck! Joy! So no cupcake for me today when I take them to work.
Why so many cakes? Well I head the Birthday Club at work and our team just went from 24 ppl to 32 ppl so we have lots of bday's to manage. turns out we have like 5 in early Oct that are Libras and 2 the end of Oct plus I will be doing something for Halloween. So yeah, after today our next one is 10-12 and Nick requested my Grandma's better than sex cake, so that will be easy. Then I'm on vacay for a week! Yay!

    at my old job we had about 30 employees and decided that it was much easier to celebrate once a month for anyone who had a birthday than to try and do multiple parties.

    at my current job, we only have 5 employees so we each get our own!

    I like doing the individual ones b/c I'm a HUGE fan of birthdays and I think everyone should feel SPECIAL on their bdays. Generally we just had 1-2 mth but now it's a little crazy. I think in a month or so they are splitting our team into two smaller teams, so it'll be more mellow!

    The only reason I'm fine around cakes w/o eating them is b/c i'm not a big sweet person. My munchie stuff was salty or carbs. I've made an entire cake or order of cupcakes w/o even tasting them before. Then when I get to work I think "omg, what if they're gross? ididn't even try them". haha! it's fun!!!

Woah...dude...it has been FOR-EV-ER!!!

Well here I am, once again starring at a computer screen to share my life or a story with an audience I cannot touch or see. I came to this blog because I am trying to get into my writing professionally part-time to follow this huge passion of mine and in doing so I had to find and share the links to a blog I "used" to write on. In coming back here and exploring a bit I feel great nostalgia for the blogging community that helped me become who I am, helped me lose weight, helped me face fears, changed the very person I am to my CORE so many years ago! Let's get MENTAL!!!

...Lol, that makes me think "Let's get physical, physical, physical"!!! (emailed myself while at gym) There's this skinny chic at the gym I was watching run. Had to be 110-120 lbs. She ran a 13 min mile. I thought her tiny body could've gone much faster, my sister does!! (Go Jennypoo!) But she had super perfect form. Her arms and shoulders never faltered, go her! Seriously though, I think she was running on her tip toes, I'll have to try that. Hehe! THEN this hot, hot guy gets on a treadmill and sets it at 6.0 (!!) For his warm up! Damn it man!!!! Yes, I am a people watcher...keeps me entertained! :P (after gym) Running: So I couldn't run on my toes. Did my best to run my 1 mile (to check my speed) and I did it in 14.2 minutes. Not awful, but I did struggle. Maybe the leg soreness… Cycling: Then I did 6.3 miles cycling and I swear I thought I was gonna die!!! (Half way thru!) But I had a glorious finish with an average of 4.7 min/mile, hooty...
