Body Wrap Results
after wrap
(I actually see a huge diff in this side view)
after wrap
So, I technically lost 17.5 inches doing the wrap! From the side view pic I'd say most of it was around my middle, which was the hope! Still not to where I'd like to be, but of course these are all baby steps to get to my end goal!
Do the polka dots make my ass look huge? haha! Kidding.
So anyway, the verdict is still out on the wrap. As to whether you keep the results that is. A lot of people believe you just lose water weight but I worked out hardcore on their gazelle the 30 mins I was wrapped and spent another 30 mins in the sauna! So I figure what I'll do is I'll wait until a few wks after and redo all the measurements and see if I've maintained the inches lost or maybe even lost more. The only thing that might skew the numbers is I did buy 2 and the second one I'm doing Tue or Wed next week. But we will do measurements before/after that one too. Maybe not before pics b/c the pink panties will technically be the before pics. Even if it's small, I just hope there's a difference.
Cool story: While I was wrapped and on the gazelle going 90 to nothing, the director came up to me b/c my "wrapper lady" told her about my surgery and the weight I've lost. She said she "knew" I was going to have fabulous results b/c I'd lost weight, so she gave me a free LCD treatment. Don't know if it was a total gimmick, or only partially. I'm inclined to think she says that to all the ladies, haha! The lightwave therapy she gave me technically: "...can reduce and even reverse the appearance of aging and damaged skin, resulting in significant and noticeable cosmetic enhancement. It is the first and only advanced light therapy system specifically designed for aesthetic applications for the entire body." She she used it on my stomach to reduce the "appearance" of my stretch marks. Then she went ahead and did it to my face too to help w/ bacteria under the surface. Which actually that isn't a huge problem for me but she said she wanted to do more while she sat there and talked to me. so whatever! I get another free LCD treatment when I go back for my 2nd body wrap. I don't feel dooped or anything b/c I had plans of buying the 2nd wrap but I guess maybe she thinks she got me to buy it by giving me the free LCD, oh well, we all win!
Can't remember if I said before not, but I got my gazelle and I'm loving it. I did feel like I had a good cardio workout on it for 35 mins, b/c I couldn't go any longer. Only had minor leg soreness the next day so I guess that explains why people say it isn't a machine for muscle toning.
Also made my first protein shake tonight. used milk, ice, vanilla protein powder, and choc sugar free syrup (for these kind of drinks, got it on amazon) and it was good. I didn't drink the whole thing b/c I was just wanting to play w/ my magic bullet. But I'll definetley do these for breakfast b/c I tend to skip breakfast a lot, which we all know is NOT good for the body!
Hope everyone had a great holiday and is settling into their christmas decorations and excitement! Me and the boys will be heading out tomorrow morning for a weekend in Prescott w/ my little sister. Oh yeah and me, my sis, and her girlfriend went to a hooka bar after eating red lobster (I didn't do too shabby controlling my eating at red lobster) and it was cool! The hooka bar was mediterrianian (I'm sure that is mis spelled) and had pillows on the floor surround little tables the hooka goes on. The tobacco for the hooka is flavored and we got a "sex on the beach" flavor that was all fruity and tropical. We really just kicked back for an hour and a half talking, laughing, and taking pictures while we did it! It was super fun! It'd be a cool mellow place for a first date, in my opinion.
xoxo,
Libby Lou!
OMG!! That wrap really did appear to work!! Here's hoping the results stays! You are looking fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI can see the results....I think that the wrap was worth it....this might sound dumb but what do they do when they "wrap" you?
ReplyDeleteAlso- I love my magic bullet blender and if you like bananas- you should try adding them to your shakes because they blend so well.
They wrap you literally from head to toe in ace bandages soaked in water, minerals, and collagen (i think) b/c it was the "body lift" one. Then I can either sit around or move around while being wrapped for 30 mins. I chose to do the gazelle for 30 mins to maximize my results, if possible. So that's what I did and then hit the sauna when they unwrapped me b/c I was freezing!
ReplyDeleteLookin GREAT!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW, I can really see a differance in your side view especially. You look very good.
ReplyDeleteEEK! That wrap sounds coooolllldddd... but I have to say, that side view one, you can really see it! Nice going having fun with that one. Will be curious to see the results of your 2nd one!
ReplyDeleteI have a question if you are willing to share...how much did your wrap cost?
ReplyDeletehmmm....it sounds fun...I love all things spa related!
ReplyDeleteThe first one cost $185 the ones after are cheaper. It's the most expensive one they offer b/c it's for lose skin and WL patients, so a little more fancy than a regular one for detoxing!
