Quick Pill Survey
1. How far out are you post-op?
2. what's your restriction w/ food like?
3. Can you swallow whole pills, like vitamins?
I ask b/c the last 2 days I've had some uncomfortableness after taking my vitamin. I know the first 30 days I had to do a gummy one. But I assumed once I'm all healed I can do regular ones again b/c I don't think the opening is THAT small. I dunno. I took my multivitamin like 3 hrs ago and still feel this weird bulge in my esophogus! uhhh!

with my program I was told no pills. Only liquids and chewables. So that's what I take. Haven't chanced the whole ones yet.
ReplyDelete1. 9 weeks
ReplyDelete2. After this fill incredibly restricted - of course it's still week 1
3. I take an asthma pill every night and crushed it for 4 weeks after surgery but then started taking it whole. Although, this week I'm back to crushing....too scared not to since i feel really tight.
I am not allowed to have pills neither, they need to be either crushed or in liquid form. I am taking liquid vitamins for now. Best of luck on your journey, you are doing great.
ReplyDeleteI am a year out and pills still give me trouble. When I have to take a Tylenol I split them in half and they go down a lot easier. As far as vitamins go...I still do the gummy ones.
ReplyDeletewWOW! I'M surprised b/c my surgeon or nutritionist never specified. I will email my nutritionist about this b/c I need some "counseling" on if I can take some xtra vitamins and stuff.
ReplyDeleteI had a problem that one day w/ a vitamin and have yet to have one since then. So I guess it's not really a "probleM" yet.
