Sitations Update
Injured- Over the last week I have done the heat/ice treatment every night and it has gone down to minimal pain. I’ve been working fine, only took 1 day off. No exercise yet but I think tonight I will be able to.
Food- I cooked 5 meals, split into 10 individual meals last Sunday and froze them. That has worked out so well! I took them to work for lunch daily and then they were a great fix during the week when I felt too tired to cook dinner. And the chicken is just as yummy reheated as it is coming straight out of the skillet. Yum-a-licous! I incorporated more salad this week as well!
Vitamins- I have been taking my multi-vitamin daily along with my new birth control. I was doing the depo shot for 2 yrs but decided to go off of it b/c I would have weird problems. So I’m trying SEASONIQUE for the first time. It’s the pill you take daily for 3 mths then stop for a week and have a (.) so you have 4 (.)s a year. So far so good, just a week into it. I do want to add a B12 vitamin and add my calcium back, but I want to wait until after I finally do that lab work.
Water- I started back using my 20oz. Drinking cup, taking it to work and carrying it all over the place for regular water and water w/ crystal light. I have done soooooo much better and realized I was NOT getting enough. My poo is fabulously normal and my MINOR DAILY HEADACHES have gone so I’m assuming that was my brain suffocating from dehydration. Poor brain!
Work- I put aside my aspirations for the supervisor job b/c I felt like God was telling me I just don’t have time to worry about it. So I went ahead and applied for the MRT (member response team) job. I’ve heard of like 5 ppl I KNOW applying for it as well, plus I’m sure a ton others I don’t know. It’s an envious job. It’s a stepping stone to making sup. I’m waiting to see if I’ll get an interview. I spiced up my resume and references for this application.
Home life- I left work this week between 330 and 4. Some days I had errands to run but we got home at least an hour before we usually did. It went well. We had a relaxed hour for snack and homework and then went about our evening routine. The boys got to bed on time and I even went to bed early a few nights. I felt much more rested. We even had enough time to do extra studying not in his hw packet and study his math and spelling words for the week, rather than just writing them.
Exercise- My goal this week is to work out 2x a week!!! Small goal but I figure the smaller the more attainable. I’m hoping when I get my student loan soon I can treat myself and buy a treadmill to plop in my room right in front of my tv. Then my TV time can turn into tv/treadmill time every night.
ADD- I have an appt w/ my fam doc on Mon to see if he can tell me if I am or if I need to see a Psychologist/Psychiatrist to determine that. I don’t know for sure if I’d do meds, still contemplating that one. I know for some people it saves their lives, others feel strongly different.
Future- Stoked for school to start, I’m even thinking about starting it early b/c I have access to it online already. Super duper stoked about my oct trip to Arkie. I’m thinking about buying like 2 new FALL outfits b/c it’s windy and chilly there in Oct. I’m picturing cute scarfts, a light blazer jacket or denium jacket with some cute brown leather ankle boots. Hmmmm, just more things to spend money on. Also super duper pooper scooper excited to get my 4th tattoo w/ my bfffffff Jeannie Beannie! Super excited! We are currently undecided on what it will be. Haha!
