Woke up this morning to 252.8! 25 pounds down FOREVER and I'm so excited to reach the 240's. This whole process is so motivating, comforting, and life changing. xoxo, Liz
Good work my friend! I went to target and tried the dress on. I still didnt buy it but I should have. I bought some size 18petite slacks instead. They are probably 10 pounds from fitting perfectly but they were on clearance and are so well made, and petite! Couldnt pass them up!
So I recently joined a Facebook page for Weight loss Surgery peeps and this has brought back this whole idea...or reminder that...Oh yeah, I hate weight loss surgery! Lol! So I had to drudge up my old before pictures, re-calculate the weight I've lost, inches lost and just all those wonderful memories come rushing back. Honestly, other than getting stuck on certain foods, occasionally eating too fast, my band horribly too tight in the humidity when I travel back to Arkansas...I tend to live my life like there is no band. It stops me from eating too much, that is my way of life now and I just don't think about it very often. But so in joining that Facebook page there were a handful of chics I vaguely know on Facebook as locals in my town (who I've never or only once met in real life) who were on that page. I never knew they had a WL surgery! That's so neat! So then tonight I was Fb chatting with one of them and she was telling me how she had gastric bypass in 2008 and ...
Well here I am, once again starring at a computer screen to share my life or a story with an audience I cannot touch or see. I came to this blog because I am trying to get into my writing professionally part-time to follow this huge passion of mine and in doing so I had to find and share the links to a blog I "used" to write on. In coming back here and exploring a bit I feel great nostalgia for the blogging community that helped me become who I am, helped me lose weight, helped me face fears, changed the very person I am to my CORE so many years ago! Starting in 2009 and up to about 2013, this blog and this community was a giant part of my life. As life got busy, as it always does, the seasons changed and life took me away from this blog. Not to mention it was died to an AOL account that caused me to have to log out of ALL my gmail accounts just to login to Blogger so that was a pain in a butt so it slowly fell away. But here I am today, with a desire to update you on my li...
...Lol, that makes me think "Let's get physical, physical, physical"!!! (emailed myself while at gym) There's this skinny chic at the gym I was watching run. Had to be 110-120 lbs. She ran a 13 min mile. I thought her tiny body could've gone much faster, my sister does!! (Go Jennypoo!) But she had super perfect form. Her arms and shoulders never faltered, go her! Seriously though, I think she was running on her tip toes, I'll have to try that. Hehe! THEN this hot, hot guy gets on a treadmill and sets it at 6.0 (!!) For his warm up! Damn it man!!!! Yes, I am a people watcher...keeps me entertained! :P (after gym) Running: So I couldn't run on my toes. Did my best to run my 1 mile (to check my speed) and I did it in 14.2 minutes. Not awful, but I did struggle. Maybe the leg soreness… Cycling: Then I did 6.3 miles cycling and I swear I thought I was gonna die!!! (Half way thru!) But I had a glorious finish with an average of 4.7 min/mile, hooty...
