No Soda for me!
This is what my mom carries around, full of Coke.
This just made me feel better about quitting drinking soda and the fact that we can't with the band. I needed that kind of limitation to be OK w/ never having it again. Knowing this, I'm proud I don't drink it anymore and proud I don't let my kids drink any either. If I could get my Mom to completely stop all soda, all Coke's, she'd probably lose 15 lbs. Hmmm, Oh well!

p.s. A funny story: I was getting Arby's for my boys the other day and ordered myself a peach tea and I was super excited to try it. The dude hands me the drink and says the food will be done in a sec. I shove the straw in and take a big drink.....ahhhh.....it was Dr. Pepper. It was like as soon as it hit my mouth I froze. I just held it in my mouth thinking "omg, I can't swallow this, omg what about my band??? omg!" I went ahead and swallowed it but it tasted sooooo bad to me. Just like dense w/ sugar and it's like I could taste the UNHEALTHINESS of it. I'm so glad it wasn't good though! haha!
