Fabulous NSV's

I just wanted to take a moment to mention some good things I've noticed. Yesterday we ran by old navy to exchange some of Riley's uniform stuff and I decided to try on some of their jeans and see if I could buy IN STORE (b/c they only go up to 20 in their store and I'm wearing some 20's and some 22's). And also I thought I'd try on a dress b/c Amy is in favor of me wearing a dress. Here's how it went...

Size 20 sweetheart cut jeans! I liked them just couldn't afford them. They fit nice though I would probably go for a tall and hem them if they needed it, pants tend to be too short for me once I wash them. I was excited they FIT!

So here is my attempt at a dress. Yes I know I should wear a tailored and/or wrap dress but I just thought this was cute so I thought I'd try it on. If I was actually looking for a dress to buy I'd either get a wrap dress or a tailored t-shirt dress. (my boys playin in the background, haha)

so once I got home I was on their site looking at their sizing charts. On tops I am officially moved out of the plus section. I can wear an XL, not even XXL. So finally in an XL at old navy and landsend, woo hoo!

I FEEL thinner. I just broke through my 260 plateau. Goodbye 260's FOREVER!!!! I have been sittin' at 259.2 for two days now and I'm optimistic about reaching my 246 goal by first weekend in Oct. Just found out though that my brother and his family aren't coming out then anymore so we won't be getting family pics done by my sister inlaw (she's a professional) but we might just have to go to someone to have them done. We'll see.
xoxo,

  1. Oh great...now I have to go try on Old Navy jeans in a 20. I am scurred though bc I dont think I can handle the sadness if they dont fit. They also dont carry 20 petites in store, but I could have them hemmed. I still have those vintage (2002) old navy jeans at home that dont even zip and they are a size 20...or so they say!

  2. I would try the new ones for sure. You should try them b/c our measurements are all the same. No harm in it, ecspecially if you go in expecting them to NOT FIT. Then you can just be excited when they do.
