Did somebody say Lollipop? ....no?.....
alright so fill 2 restriction. So far I have no clue what it's like b/c I'm still on liquids/mushies. I've been having some pureed soup, yogurt, pudding, and today mashed potatoes. I'm only staying full for about 3 hrs but I am allowing myself to eat once every 3 hrs b/c it's just light liquidy meals. I figure the hungry sooner feeling is b/c I not getting much protein.
I'm going to mix up my foods this weekend. I'm going to buy the stuff I need to prepare a protein/fruit shake in the morning for breakfast. Breakfast and I do not get along. So I'll try that to get some extra protein and jump start the day off right and easy.
A THOUGHTFUL MOMENT: I have discovered since this most recent fill, that my eyes still need to do some shrinking. Do you guys do that? Fix your plate or get it all together and think it's "smaller than before" but yet still can't finish it???? The only time this doesn't happen to me is if I measure out the portion, ie. 1 cup of soup. Then I'm good with that. But every other meal, no matter whether solid or mushie, I don't see it. It's like when I fix my plate I'm thinking "I can eat more than that. I want to eat more than that, I don't want to starve myself. This looks fine." But then when I actually eat I follow my rules, eat slowly, put the silverware down between bites, etc and I get full before I finish it.
I am currently starring down into a tiny bowl of mashed potatoes and I have over half of it left. It just dawned on me that these might swell a bit, I'm full already. Good thing, yes! But I wish I'd quit wasting food by getting too much. First day with real food is Sunday, my mom's surprise bday party. so I will have to take my own food to have healthy stuff b/c they are doing potatoe salad, baked beans, and burgers. Maybe I could try a turkey burger, just the patty with something else. We'll see. I'm digging this so far.
since this is my first full day on liquids/mushies I'm hoping I have like a 2 lb weightloss in the morning. Yay!!!! I'll let ya know!
xoxo,

JUST BE CAREFUL on what you eat when you do go back on solids. with my last fill taking me up to 6.7cc's I couldnt even eat spagetti that was super saucy. I know everyone is diffrent but I just wanted to remind you to CHEW CHEW CHEW because if I dont I get stuck soooooo much easier now and it HURTSSS!

Thanks for the advice. I am being careful and I think about 75% of what I'm eating is still mushie stuff. I'm still too afraid to try chicken b/c I got it stuck once before at 4cc. So OH and I'm doing the smaller bites for sure!
