comp problems & 30/20/30 rule

Okay I've been super busy this week. some ppl said their webpage would shut down after pulling up my page. Mine has done this as well so tonight I'm going to go through and take off some of the graphics at the bottom of the page. I think that's what's causing it, maybe too much going on.

The 30/20/30 rule I was given by my surgeon and nutritionist. It's basically this: don't DRINK for 30 minutes before you eat. then take 20 mins or less to eat. If you take longer they say it turns into snacking and grazing (which I've found to be true). Then don't drink for 30 minutes after you eat. This allows for there to only be food in your pouch. B/c if you drink right after you eat or within 5 mins, that fluid comes in and pushes the food through the whole. I've discovered on the days I stick to this AND eat my protein, I go 6-7 hrs before FEELING real hungry. So it works but most of the time I actually do 15/15/30. Haha! Stick w/ that works, my nutritionist said as long as it's 15 before the meal.

  1. Mine is also 30/20/30 as well, I still have alot of head hunger that is hard to fight but im getting there. since my Fill on wednesday I havent been hungry at all lol. I finally have restriction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I have never heard that rule but I like it. I do the drinking part, but I hadnt heard of only giving yourself 20 minutes. You blog seems to be up and running again. Thank God bc I didnt want you to think I was ignoring you!
