2.95 HOURS!!!
Notes from my Droid during low intense moments of my workout:
*Oh my, Mr. Hotty hot hot SPOTTED on the treadmill. He ran at 10.0 and WALKED at 3.5!!!! (I run at 4.3 lol) when his lil tight ass started wearing out I was mentally cheering his fine self on (horndog in the room, beware all!) When he got off, what did I spy? A wedding ring. Damn it! One can drool I guess, and I did! :D
*80% of people break their New Years Resolution by Valentines day.
*Check it! Old man WALKING at 4.3 on the treadmill! Look at him go, makes me feel a bit stupid!
*Funny thing about headphones blasting in your ears while you workout...you don't realllllllly KNOW how loud you are when you laugh, have an "uninvited" burp or let a fart slip! Oops! Well cowboy did I notice today. Goin’ as fast as I could on the elliptical listening to my favorite am DJ’s I laughed and the dude next to me looked at me! Lol! I bet they think "damn she enjoys her workout"!!! You betcha I do!!!
*'Nother thing I love about Arizona... you can get a sour gummy gecko or a scorpion sucker at the gas stations!!! A real scorpion inside, you can SEE it! Crazy! I'd like to meet someone who bought that and watch ‘em eat it. Lol!!! Funny lil thing about Arkansas, they have gas stations called "Kum n Go" LOL! Aimme Jo just recently got her first experience with one on her nationwide road trip. She said the sign said "full service" and made her feel cheap! Bahahahahaha!
*After a 13.5 MIN MILE RUN (!!!!) and 65 mins on the elliptical I had to come home for an important phone call. I plan on heading back to the gym after this and getting the rest of the 100 mins I need to meet my goal today!!!! Plan on doing 35-45 on cycling and then the rest on the elliptical! Gotta charge my Dang mp3 player that died! :(
Ok so I just got ALL set up on www.myfitnesspal.com to track my food. I haven't tracked my food (in any form) in probably 6 mths. Tracking food I hate! It makes me feel like I'm on a diet. But my lack of water had gotten out of control and so I figured my food (calorie wise) may be as well so I need to track it for awhile and see what's going on (without changing my current habits). I skip meals a lot. Then every so often I have really fattening stuff from fast food, but don't eat as much. So I was a bit shocked by some of the things I saw on this site! Shocked in a GOOD way!
Here's the break down for this week so far:
MONDAY: ate 945 cals burned 1627
**When I submitted the entry for the day it said if I kept up THOSE numbers, I'd be at 181.5 lbs in 5 weeks!!!! That's losing 31 lbs in 5 wks, at 6.2 lbs PER WEEK!!!! That's insane!!!! And sooooooooooooo motivating!
TUESDAY: ate 1823 (did NOT know how fattening jack in the box chicken terriyaki was, fyi, it‘s a slider food, I ate the whole thing) burned 1586. It said at THIS pace I'd be 190 in 5 wks!
WEDNESDAY: ate 1525 (skipped lunch and gorged on pizza for dinner, yippee, bad moment) and no burn *NO WORKOUT*. It said at this pace I'd be 203 in 5 wks! wah wah!
Haven't finished today's totals, I've barely eaten anything today. But seeing that "Your weight in 5 wks...." is so VISUAL and motivating. That whole "203 in 5 wks" has been the story of my life. I ate too much that day and didn't workout and that is exactly what I've been doing the last 3 mths. That would explain why I've lost 10 lbs in 3 mths. And people like Ms. Mary pulls off those 6 pounder weeks! I'm envious. But now, alas, I have found the cure. Work my ass off and watch my food. It's like "HELLO LIZ where the hell have you been?" Jeez, I feel dumb. BUT, I'm loving this site and it's sooo motivating to know that I am 38 lbs from my goal (woot woot!) and that if I actually tried hard I could be there 5 damn weeks or maybe 6, just crazy! I see now how Mary worked her ass off and appeared to be creating miracles but really it's just science and she's tried hard this whole time w/ envious devotion! YOu rock Mary!!!
So for real...my vacation is about 2 1/2 wks away. If I stuck w/ that success of MONDAY, I could be around 195 by the time I go on vacation and man would that rock! But really, just to think how feasible it is to smash 38 lbs out of the water, just really excites me!
I've been home the last 2 hrs taking care of "business" and now I am beyond stoked to get back to the gym for workout #2 and rock it like I did Monday. I'm going to be religiously tracking my food, watching the calories, and thinking about NUMBERS before I eat. That is a style of eating that I do not prefer but I am going to rough it through it until I can make better choices out of habit!!!
That 195 will feel so good, so much better than any food tastes! I'm going to try to focus on THAT!
SO MY GOALS NOW: Monday's cals are not always reasonable but the high amount on Tuesday is not acceptable either. So this is what I'm going to shoot for. I'm going to eat 1500 cals on the days I work out. And cut it down to 1200 on days when I can't get a workout in. Sound good? I dunno, but I'll give it a shot!

THURSDAY: ate 1588, burned 2509! This time it said “You'd weigh 179.2 lbs in 5 weeks” !!!! hehe!
I OFFICIALLY GOT IN 2.95 HRS OF CARDIO TODAY!!!
Oh and my big sister does a blog while she's losing weight as well (sans band) so check her out if you want to see who my sister is! She has a smokin' body! My sister Jennifer !
