5.4 mph

Well, I got in a workout today. Today went well. Well...actually after breakfast.

I ate awful on Sunday...pizza. 2200 calories for the day, to beEXACT! Miraculously, I didn't gain weight. Funny. I tried to eat left over pizza this am (I know, right!) and 3 bites in it got STUCK! Marvelous. It hurt like an sob, worst ever, for 20 mins!!!!! Worse pain than any piercing I've ever had, and I've had naughty ones ;P eventually it passed and I didn't eat for 7 hours. Ms. Kelly (my band) is doin her job 110% today. Overacheiver! :P

Finally had a late lunch around 2pm and had a cliff bar because I needed to go workout.

Got in 35 mins on elliptical, then felt like I needed a run. So I ran for 30 minutes, almost all nonstop. A few breathers in there. I got in 2 miles exactly. Not my best time. I did do a slower time b/c I was feeling weak and hit it up higher a few times! My fastest speed to date? 5.4 mph for 2 minutes!!! I was so shocked I could actually do it. I mean, I had my music blarring and I could hear my feet pounding on the treadmill. For a moment I thought "These people think 'damn she's still so big she's beatin' the hell out of that treadmill' ", Then I thought, "Nahhhhh, they're thinkin' I'm rockin' it like a superstar!!!" :D That helped!

Missed the kettlebell today. I purposely did not do it b/c I've been a little put off that it contributed to weight gain (I know, I know, it's muscle). BUT I am doing it tomorrow b/c I missed it and I'm looking forward to it!

While I'm here chatting away, I'd like to share some info with you guys tonight. I have a few "exercise goals". Well, maybe just general goals because it's something/some things I want to do for myself, not necessarily for fitness purposes. Here goes:

I want to do a:
*Bellydancing Class
*Hot Yoga Class (Bikram Yoga)
*Exotic Dancing Class
*Salsa/Latin Dancing Class
*Lapdance Class

ANDDDDD cool news...I found 1 studio that offers ALL of these classes (oh except the yoga) and they are almost all instructed by this hot hot woman who used to be a, uh huh, "exotic dancer" and she's GORGEOUS! Anyway, so I'm totally stoked. Prices are reasonable. I just want to try them all at least once, to say I did. And if I enjoy any, then I'll stick to it for fitness reasons. But for now I want to do it to say I did it. Only downfall, they are almost all (except yoga) offered at NIGHT, like 7-8pm and so I'd HAVE to get my Mom to be ok to watch the boys for me. Who knows, we'll see.

  1. HOnestly, I wouldn't worry too much about the initial weight gain from the kettlebells. I believe it's normal to go up slightly when you start to build muscle, but it evens out (because muscle helps to burn fat more efficiently). Plus, it'll help fill the empty space left when all your fat is gone!

  3. snake skin pants boy was pretty lickable... he was this scruffy random 22 yr old who thought my friends and i werre whack... and im like arghhh helllo your wearing pink snake skin pants.

    Im obsessed with posting pictures... im glad people enjoy them, i hope its not annoying ahahah. im one serious blogger ahah.
