Picture Post, please vote!

WOWSA! Another post. I just need quick picture opinions. So as I'm going through this whole "identity crisis" it is very common for women to change their hair. In fact, so common that when I know someone who personally changes their hair style or hair color every 6 mths, I worry about them! :D No offense if you do that. But I want big change right now. I posted that on my FB. I had LONG ass hair until like 8 mths ago and I chopped it all off. Seeing S, I considered regrowing it out. Moving back to Ark, I considered regrowing it out. Today I thought, Screw that Jazz! I LIKE my hair short! The only time I actually fix it on a semi regular basis is WHEN IT'S SHORT. So this is the style it was cut the end of May...

Short!

This was me 4th of July (disregard my face looks puffy, I have no clue why!)

And you can see my hair grows pretty quick. With the style they did it before, I don't like it touching my shoulders. It's meant to be ABOVE my shouldres.

So FIRST, I'm going to cut it again. Toyin' with the idea of going shorter than I had it in May.

I'M ALSO considering one of two things:
One: Honey highlights, sublte.
OR Two: maroon underneath.

Also contemplating a Marilyn Monroe piercing:


This is my friend L. I googled to find pics of the piercing and man do some "not cute" people get pierced. L is adorable and I LOVE the look on her. She also inspires me with her hair 'dos and retro style and retro make-up! I could eat her up! I aspire to be like her! :D

Think I could pull off a lil diamond stud on my face???? I love it!

So.... thoughts? thoughts? thoughts? Any thoughts? What should I do w/ color? Piercing yay or nay? :D

    Colour and cut first pierce later!

    Im not a huge fan of piercings tho so im probably not the best person to ask ahahaha how super cute is your first photo... i like the length i also thing you could go lighter.... you could actually go quite blonde and i think you would look rocking!

    I say be more dramatic with the colour then the cut as i like the cut!

    I love how your hair was in May, I think it looks stylish. Highlights sound like a nice addition.

    I love the piercing and her hair, how cute and I would go shorter with the highlights, if your hair grows fast maroon might be really hard to maintain.

    Have you ever thought of highlights? I love the chunky underneath ones, and they last longer (because the roots are covered by the hair on top). As for the piercing...well they're not really my style but I definitely think you could rock it!

    Okay, as a "mom" figure, ( I have 5 grown kids ), I can speak from experience. My now 26 year old daughter had one of the face piercings. Of course, I hated it. It just looks unnatural to me. She has since removed the piercing and now sports a scar on her face. Currently, she has a very small diamond nose piercing. I guess I can tolerate that one more than the other. Oh well, I am old fashioned and am not a fan of face piercings and tattoos. As far as the hair thing goes, I say go for it! It's only hair and it does grow back and you can change the color if you don't like it. Most importantly, there is no scar!

    Hair a little shorter with honey highlights. :) I'm with Miss Vickie on this one...I'm older (50) so a piercing is hard to relate to. Wouldn't a piercing on the face be painful? Get in the way with kissing? I think of all of the practical things. :) You could just use makeup for a sparkly sticker and have no pain or a scar. You are so pretty as you are! Isn't that just like what a mom would say! :)

    You cut lil mommy's saying NO the piercing, so cute! I totally understand. My mom is not in favor of piercings either but she'd rather me do it (and have a tiny scar) then get another tattoo.

    The pain of a piercing is VERY manageable and offer in 3-5 seconds. I've had a ton done. Oh and I did have my nose done and loved it but took it out for the lapband surg and it healed up b/c I got so swollen. So that scar isn't even noticeable!

    hi Liz! For the do go shorter with highlights- chunky ones. as for the piercing- meh. I would say nah. but that is just me, seems like it would be easy to just take it out and move on if you don't like it at some point. Would having a facial piercing impact the job search?

    @Jen: Hi Jen! :D Good point on the job search. currently I am not LOOKING for a job b/c I'm waiting to hear on unemployment and see if I'll be able to do unemployment and school full time for a few mths. But I should know this week on that. So I guess what I'll do is if I do get unemployment then I can feel free to go for the piercing. If I don't, then I'll wait on the piercing. A mail order or hospital pharmacy are both generally ok w/ piercings. But if you work in retail they are strict, so I'll just have to wait and see. Thanks for reminding me of that! ;)

Woah...dude...it has been FOR-EV-ER!!!

Well here I am, once again starring at a computer screen to share my life or a story with an audience I cannot touch or see. I came to this blog because I am trying to get into my writing professionally part-time to follow this huge passion of mine and in doing so I had to find and share the links to a blog I "used" to write on. Let's get MENTAL!!!

...Lol, that makes me think "Let's get physical, physical, physical"!!! (emailed myself while at gym) There's this skinny chic at the gym I was watching run. Had to be 110-120 lbs. She ran a 13 min mile. I thought her tiny body could've gone much faster, my sister does!! (Go Jennypoo!) But she had super perfect form. Her arms and shoulders never faltered, go her! Seriously though, I think she was running on her tip toes, I'll have to try that. Hehe! THEN this hot, hot guy gets on a treadmill and sets it at 6.0 (!!) For his warm up! Damn it man!!!! Yes, I am a people watcher...keeps me entertained! :P (after gym) Running: So I couldn't run on my toes. Did my best to run my 1 mile (to check my speed) and I did it in 14.2 minutes. Not awful, but I did struggle. Maybe the leg soreness… Cycling: Then I did 6.3 miles cycling and I swear I thought I was gonna die!!! (Half way thru!) But I had a glorious finish with an average of 4.7 min/mile, hooty...
